八月的龙岗，海风裹着远方的气息，吹来了一场名为“山海归家·智创同行”的聚会。为期三天的大会落下了帷幕，但那些从18个国家赶回来的年轻人，依然意犹未尽。

In August, the sea breeze carried the scent of distant lands to Longgang, heralding a gathering themed “Homeward Bound: Wisdom and Innovation in Step.” The three-day conference concluded, yet the young participants who traveled from 18 countries remained deeply inspired, their conversations far from over.

赵杨平从加拿大蒙特利尔大学博士毕业，如今是北美硕博联盟中国区主席。这是他首次来龙岗，三天的行程排得满满当当——社交酒会、企业展厅、工厂参访，一样没落下。“我觉得整个形式还是比较新颖的。”他说，“从社交晚宴到企业展示，再到实地参访，这种安排在短时间内就能让海外人才比较全面地了解龙岗的创新创业生态和人才政策。”

Zhao Yangping, a Ph.D. graduate from the Université de Montréal, now serves as China regional chair of the North American Master's and Doctoral Alliance. It was his first visit to Longgang. Over three days, his schedule was packed—networking receptions, corporate exhibition halls, and factory tours, none missed. “I find the format quite innovative,” he said. “From networking dinners to corporate exhibitions and on-site visits, this arrangement enables overseas talent to gain a fairly comprehensive understanding of Longgang’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and its talent policies in a short time.”

他心中还有更宏大的谋划。他所在的联盟拥有千余名高层次人才和300多个海外创业项目，而龙岗恰好是深圳的产业大区和先进制造业基地。他说：“我们非常期待这些高层次人才和创业项目，能够与龙岗的产业发展和就业岗位进行深度匹配。”他一直希望构建一个世界青年科学家网络，而这项工作亟需与地方政府紧密合作，实现人才与产业的真正落地与双向奔赴。

But he had a grander vision in mind. His alliance brings together over a thousand high-caliber professionals and more than 300 overseas startup projects, and Longgang happens to be Shenzhen's major industrial district and advanced manufacturing base. “We look forward to seeing these high-caliber talents and startup projects deeply aligned with Longgang’s industrial development and job opportunities,” he said. He has long aspired to build a global network of young scientists, and that, he noted, requires close collaboration with local governments to make talent and industry truly connect and take root.

陈榆也有同样的感受。他是荷兰格罗宁根大学博士，现任中欧绿色科技产业联盟专职副主席兼秘书长。他专程从海外赶来，旨在摸清龙岗的岗位和产业需求，回国后与海外人才网络进行更务实的对接。在他看来，龙岗的优势主要体现在两个方面：一是先进制造业和高端制造产业体系完善，能为人才和创业项目提供优质的发展平台；二是人才政策兼具深度与温度——“深度体现于政府能从人才视角出发，温度体现于住房补贴、医疗教育等细致的关怀。”

Chen Yu shared a similar sentiment. A Ph.D. from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, he serves as full-time vice chairman and secretary-general of the Sino-European Green Technology Industry Alliance. He made the trip specifically to gain a clear picture of Longgang’s job openings and industrial demands, so that we can carry out more practical matchmaking with overseas talent networks after returning. In his view, Longgang’s strengths lie mainly in two aspects: first, its well-developed industrial system in advanced manufacturing and high-end manufacturing provides an excellent platform for talent and startups to grow; second, its talent policies combine depth and warmth—"depth, as policies are crafted from the perspective of talent, and warmth, seen in thoughtful support for housing, healthcare, education, and more."

此外，大会特别策划了深圳欧美同学会“学长说”第三期，邀请深圳欧美同学会副会长杨亚飞和峰瑞资本合伙人马睿，分别围绕产业落地和科创投资两大主题，结合自身实战经验进行分享，为有意来深发展的海外学子提供了可借鉴的实践路径。

In addition, the conference specially arranged the third session of the “Senior Alumni Sharing” series by the Shenzhen Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA Shenzhen). Yang Yafei, vice president of WRSA Shenzhen, and Ma Rui, a partner at FreeS Fund, were invited to share their hands-on experience on two themes—industrial implementation and sci-tech innovation investment respectively—offering practical pathways for overseas students considering a future in Shenzhen.

大会虽已落幕，但后续工作刚刚起步。“全球侨界人才连接计划”正式发布，旨在逐层打通海外社团、本地企业与政府之间的沟通渠道。同期发布的《2026全球留学人才与高校资源白皮书》，调研了全球60所高校和47个重点专业，如同一份精准的导航图，为尚在考量的海外人才标明了龙岗的方位。

Although the conference had come to a close, the follow-up work had only just begun. The “Global Overseas Chinese Talent Connection Initiative” was officially launched to build communication channels step by step among overseas associations, local enterprises, and the government. The concurrently released “2026 White Paper on Global Overseas-Educated Talent and University Resources,” which surveyed 60 universities and 47 key disciplines worldwide, serves as a precise roadmap, pinpointing Longgang for overseas talent still weighing their options.
